Dollars to donuts this is a php version error. I'll bet the house we are looking a lt php deprecated error. Rollback php ver. to 7.4 and try again.

If the OP supplied the proper information, like error_log, server conf, php.ini we wouldn't be guessing at the issue.

Change you php, try again and if not, then provide proper information.
