This means that only those who have already shared at least five personal resources with others can download the update. I believe it's a sharing site, not a place to take things without giving anything in return.

I understand now. Ok, thanks You for the explination ... I shared the newest version of OSDownloads and when i returned to your share, it didn't count my share.
I tested to see if it says ”now you have 1 resources” , but no .. still nothing.
Anyways, i'll keep searching or if anyone shares it without the need of resources, many thanks in advance.


From another personal point of view, i give you full credit on what you say .. You are totally right, its a sharing site, but i dont know if anywhere in the rules its written something to force me to share to receive. I'll say it again: You are totally right...

And let me tell you, sir, one other thing... it never knows when you/or nullcave will need somebody like me, or (why not?) somebody else if something bad happens with this great great website/forum. And that someone, if in need at some point, remembers what you said (even if You are right, sir) will say/think/wonder:
”Why should I help if then, when i needed the most that extension/thing he/they forced me to share something? .... naaaah, let them crash ..”

Its just a thought, dont take it personally or as an abusive conversation.. I think, whoever wants to share something TO HELP, just do it ! Here, or anywhere anytime, somewhere else .. in real life, lets say ...

That sir, its your own choice and it will ne respected accordingly. All I said earlier, in short, is: if You or anyone else wants to do a good deed, just do it! If not, thats your choice.
Let me put it this way: if i had the money for it, for all these great extensions, i would have bought them and share them without asking a penny for it. Why? Just because! Just because thats the way i am, thats the way i see life: i choose to be a good person, thats all..

It's a pity that you want to stop sharing them, but it's your choice and you can do whatever you want

Each of us helps others in our free time, but honestly, in a community like ours, everyone must do their part, without scammers who try to get things without giving anything in return. I will share resources with those who respect others.

Good morning, I would like to explain my situation. It's not that I don't want to share resources, it's not an excuse. I live in Mexico, and we are going through a major crisis. I am married and have two children, and one is studying medicine. The resources I take from here are not for commercial purposes; they are for a simple localhost I have, and it's impossible for me to afford resources for the localhost, which is why I turn to your generosity. On one occasion, I sent a personal message to @zafro, and he kindly replied. I respect his point of view of 5 resources to be able to download the resources that have cost him to obtain, but in my case, where do I get 5 resources if I can't even afford to pay for a 35 Euro extension? Greetings to all.
