lool me myself i got error 500 but i did follow every step. maybe i missed something
you just have to follow the instructions as they say and follow everything step by step, maybe you missed the database installation, when you do it right you get a message in a white screen, then you know everything is fine

i have gone trough all of the options in that menu, i havent made any changes so far to the original configuration, but i will check it so i am sure everything is ok, but so far no errors, are you sure you copy the files and made the correct changes to the other files as needed???

that is weird, because i followed all directions correctly and i have no errors on my CMS, are you sure you did it all right, and my CMS as you can see have been modified a lot, so if i had no error in a regular version there should be none either, maybe you didnt modified the files correctly ?? did you get the database messages after installation?? may be there is a way i can send you the modified files so you can copy them and try your CMS
