Hello

when i scan this on virus total

we get an warning that there is a virus -- Dropper.Bomgen.VBS.1

can you please look into this
 
Just to give an update the official version downloaded from the wprocket websites is also marked as a trojan/virus by virustotal so it looks like wprocket officially have planted as trojan in their official plugin

This is a wrong diagnosis, the source code of the original version was downloaded from GitHub and I tested it
Again, Total Virus recognized it as a virus
Does it mean that the manufacturer has given the virus?
All this misdiagnosis of total virus

i got an official reply from them today .......

Thanks for contacting the support.

I checked with our team about this and the virus tool is complaining about the following:
- one file is a PHP one that's about the notices we display in WordPress
- and the other is the script we have for the Delay JS feature.

Neither are malicious and don't contain any vulnerabilities that we are aware of.

So, it seems to be a false positive from virustotal.com.

You have nothing to worry about if you have downloaded WP Rocket from our official site.
