Aimy Sitemap v34.0 - What's new?​

Aimy Sitemap v34.0 does not require the Joomla! Backward Compatibility Plugin (B/C Plugin) to be active on Joomla! 5 anymore. Besides that it supports crawling of WebP images, improves suggested actions on broken links (PRO feature) and allows to exclude "priority" tags from an XML sitemap (PRO feature).
Aimy Sitemap now requires at least Joomla! v3.9.0.

Aimy Sitemap v37.0 improves dark mode support and emoji handling in titles.

Emojis in Titles​

Emojis in titles are getting more and more popular. Some of them causederrors during the crawl. As of version v37.0 links that show emojis and othersymbols can be handled correctly.
Additionally there is a new option for the HTML sitemap so you can decideif and how to show emojis (PRO Feature).

Dark Mode​

Since Joomla! 5 the backend can be switched to dark mode. We improved supportfor working in Aimy Sitemap's backend in dark mode.

Translations​

Aimy Sitemap v37.0 comes with improved and more complete Czech, French and Polish translations.

Aimy Sitemap v38.0 comes with its own debugging mode and improves special character handling in URLs.

Debugging Mode​

Until v37.0 Aimy Sitemap could be put into debugging mode only by enabling the "System: Debug" option in Joomla!'s "Global Configuration". Now Aimy Sitemap can be put into debugging mode on its own independently as well (see "Options" → "Enable Debugging Mode" in "Aimy Sitemap" tab).
