New behavior for WooCommerce variable products. If a variation is configured as default for such a product, we can send its ID and name when the parent product page is visited. There is an option for each tag called “Track the variation data when a variation is selected”. The default for new installs is ON.
We can send a new view content event whenever a variation is selected, tracking the variation ID and name. There is an option for it under WooCommerce, Track product pages.
WooCommerce new brand fields are now available for selection under WooCommerce, Brand tracking for Google Analytics.
A new option that allows you to define the main language when using WPML. It means you can configure the plugin to use the IDs from a translation instead of the default IDs. It’s helpful if you create a catalog (Meta, Google Merchant, Pinterest, TikTok) where the main language is different from the site. Use with caution, it’s not needed in most scenarios.
